this skirt fits my 2 year old who wears a 2T.

put right sides facing together and sew along the diagonal cut.

fold and press again enough to fit your elastic. (i used 1/2" elastic, so i folded it down just short of an inch)

sew close to the edge of your fold, allowing a casing for your elastic. make sure you remember to leave a hole open to thread your elastic through. measure your elastic, cut, and thread through. when you reach the end sew your elastic together and sew close your opening that you left. i also like to sew the elastic along the side seams so that is doesn't twist. (does that make any sense?) and there you have a quick and cheap bandanna skirt perfect for a 4th of july celebration!
