Day 10 - Christmas Traditions
First I'll share with you some of our Christmas traditions. I am always trying to add new ones that I think would be fun, but I'll share the ones that we currently have:
*Christmas Tree Hunt- the Saturday after Thanksgiving we go up in the mountains to get ourselves a tree.
*Christmas movies- we always have to watch these movies sometime during the month (must watch with all the lights off except for the tree lights) Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story
*Drive around and look at the Christmas Lights
*Read a Christmas book or story each night
*New pajamas on Christmas Eve
*Sledding on Christmas Eve (wears the kids out so they can sleep!)
*Breakfast Casserole on Christmas morning
*Three gifts for everyone- this is a new one we are trying this year but we are trying to keep gifts down to three each one from Santa, one from mom and dad, and one from the siblings
Here are some that I have found around on the internet:

The list goes on and on. So many cute ideas thank you guys for sharing your creativity!
Here is a good idea that I heard is to use your children's Halloween candy to put in a candy advent calendar! Brilliant! The one that I am starting this year is to unwrap and read a Christmas book or story each night. It was tradition in my family growing up to unwrap and read a new Christmas book on Christmas Eve followed by the Christmas Story from the Bible so, I am taking the books that my mom has given me over the years to use as a countdown to Christmas by unwrapping and reading one each night before Christmas.

Day 8 of the 12 Days of Christmas Inspiration
Day 8 - Colors of Christmas
There are so many wonderful color combinations for Christmas other than the traditional red and green (which is great as well), but if those colors don't go with the decor that you have in your room why not decorate for Christmas using colors that go with your room. Here are some color combinations that I found that I really liked.
